We have been doing BODY SHRED by Jillian Michaels for the last two months and we have come on the last 2 hardest weeks of the program.
It has been so hard with so many new moves, I had to take the fitness class to another level in the students minds.
Before class started for levels 7 & 8 we did a little self- esteem exercise.
I started by saying that we have reached the final weeks of the program and this will be the cumulation of everything we have done and then some.
To get my students through the program and keep pushing their limits I said:
1. Rate your self-esteem on a scale of 1-10 (keep it private)
2. Then Move it up to a 10.
3. Remember this feeling when you are in the middle of this exercise routine and you can't do something- just keep pushing and believe you can do it!
Mountain Crew Fitness isn't just about what our bodies can do and how we look. It's also about where we can takes our hearts and our minds. By incorporating everything together I want to create well rounded people who are a little better off leaving the class than when they walked in.
